The ATS is thrilled to host this year’s International Conference in sunny San Diego! With each host city, the Society engages local businesses that can enrich attendees’ conference experiences outside the convention center.
To further these efforts in 2024, the ATS is collaborating with the San Diego Tourism Authority’s Tourism Accelerator program, which promotes a group of local small businesses each year owned by people of color, LGBTQ+, women, and veterans.
The Accelerator program offers participants resources of support valued at over $14,000, including business services and coaching from the top providers in San Diego in finance, risk management, commercial real estate, operations, and marketing. Selected organizations also receive a $500 voucher for a course through UC San Diego and free advertising in multiple publications and locations across San Diego.
“We’re very excited about the opportunity to connect with the San Diego Tourism Authority and local businesses to share some of the unique offerings that make San Diego a special and vibrant community with ATS 2024 attendees,” said ATS Chief Executive Officer Karen J. Collishaw, MPP, CAE.
