The ATS 2026 International Conference in Orlando is a six-day conference with more than 200 hours of CME content, a robust offering of MOC-designated sessions, pre-conference practical skills courses, non-accredited continuing education, and industry symposia. The conference aims to provide physicians, researchers, and advanced practice professionals with a forum to explore the ATS foundational conference topics across both adult and pediatric content, including asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary infections, pulmonary diseases, and more, not just as disease states but as challenges to public health both domestically and globally.

This year’s overarching basic science theme for the ATS 2026 International Conference is “Understanding the Lung Microenvironment in Disease.”

Overall conference CME objectives include:

  • Describe the recommendations included within the latest guidelines produced by the American Thoracic Society and presented at ATS 2026.
  • Develop treatment strategies that incorporate the latest recommendations for the treatment of asthma, COPD, lung cancer (and prevalent respiratory diseases), critical care illnesses, and sleep disorders into practice.
  • Collaborate with fellow participants on pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine research and advocacy initiatives.
  • Incorporate lessons learned from early career professionals and mentoring activities at the conference into practice within academic medical settings.

CME credits will be awarded based on the participant attending the activity, evaluating the activity, and attesting to the credits earned. MOC points are awarded to participants who satisfy CME requirements and submit the post-test with a passing score.
