The ATS 2025 International Conference provides busy pulmonary, critical care, and sleep professionals with a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and connect with new and old colleagues. The ATS Networking Super Center and the ATS Center will once again be the collaborative hubs of this year’s International Conference, offering dedicated spaces for attendees to network or strengthen their connections with other ATS attendees in San Francisco.
The ATS Networking Super Center will be open in the Moscone Center from 7 a.m.–5 p.m. PT from Sunday, May 18, to Tuesday, May 20, and 7 a.m.–1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
“Networking is a crucial aspect of the ATS International Conference experience,” said ATS President Irina Petrache, MD, ATSF. “The Networking Super Center offers an ideal environment for attendees interested in building or strengthening their connections across the respiratory health community.”
The Networking Super Center features a center for career development with a dedicated networking and career growth space for early career professionals (including graduate students, medical students, residents, fellows, post-docs, and other allied professionals).
This year’s ATS SpeakEasy sessions will be held in the Networking Super Center from 4–5 p.m., Sunday, May 18, through Tuesday, May 20. This series is led by diverse speakers who have exemplified perseverance and represent varying backgrounds. Speakers will touch on topics like medical education, clinical practice, leadership, mentorship (as mentee or mentor), scientific investigation, and even considerations for one’s personal life. Each Storytelling Series will reflect on major career transition points, balancing personal life events or obligations, and key take-home points from each speaker’s own career decisions or pathways. The goal of this series is to share an honest account of professional and personal ups and downs in medicine.
The Networking Super Center’s Learning Studio will host discussions to enhance the professional development of all early career professionals and connect them with experts across their desired specialties. Segmented studio talks will additionally explore topics like the varying availability of resources and the needs of clinicians and interprofessional specialists. This space will feature live daily informational panel discussions presented by leaders in the pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine fields. Look for more details closer to the conference!
A networking and career-building space for basic and translational scientists to collaborate and learn about emerging technologies that could enhance the efficiency of their research will also be offered at the Networking Super Center. In addition, studio talks will explore impactful interpersonal career considerations.
The Networking Super Center will also offer a lounge for participants to continue conversations with other conference attendees, grab a bite to eat, or recharge between sessions in San Francisco.
The ATS Center is another collaborative hub at the International Conference for attendees inside the Moscone Center. The ATS Center is a space for attendees to ask questions or participate in Ask-Me-Anything sessions to learn how to take full advantage of all the benefits associated with ATS membership, at the conference and year-round. Certificates of Attendance will also be available, as well as a selfie wall to commemorate the experience.
The International Participants Center is another area for conference attendees dedicated to global health interests and highlights the ATS’s progress in global health initiatives. The IPC acknowledges and enhances the interconnectedness of respiratory medicine by gathering diverse, distinguished professionals to connect on mutual challenges that affect communities around the globe.
