The annual Clinical Year in Review sessions continue with a third and fourth day of programming on Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21.
These sessions are designed to present essential and accessible overviews of some of the past year’s most important developments in the pulmonary and critical care fields.
“In some ways, they offer a ‘CliffsNotes’ version of the most important clinical updates from the past year,” said the 2025 Clinical Year in Review Chair, Sara Auld, MD, MSc, ATSF, Emory University School of Medicine.
Each day’s installment features investigative clinical insights over four topics. Tuesday’s session takes place from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. PT, while Wednesday’s session runs from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m. Both sessions will be hosted in the Esplanade Ballroom (South Building, Upper Mezzanine), Moscone Center. The final two days cover a range of topics, from bronchiectasis to pulmonary vascular disease. The full lineup for each session is listed below:
Clinical Year in Review Session Three (Tuesday, May 20)
- Bronchiectasis (CF/non-CF)
- Interstitial lung disease
- Lung transplant
- Pneumonia and pulmonary infections
Clinical Year in Review Session Four (Wednesday, May 21)
- COPD
- Pulmonary vascular disease
- Pulmonary rehabilitation
- Lung cancer
Co-Chairs Ayodeji O. Adegunsoye, MD, MS, University of Chicago, and Juliana C. Ferreira, MD, PhD, ATSF, University of São Paulo, Brazil, join Dr. Auld in organizing the sessions.
The Clinical Year in Review sessions are open to all registered conference attendees.
