On-Demand Highlights Extend ATS 2023 Learning for Dual Audiences

Over 100 scientific sessions from this year’s International Conference program will be available for convenient, on-demand viewing. Available as On-Demand Highlights through the ATS Store, the selected session recordings will be available this summer.

This format extends learning opportunities for the conference’s dual audiences.

“For the people who were not able to attend the conference, it gives them the opportunity to get exposed to the latest thinking and the latest advances in respiratory medicine,” said ATS immediate past-president Gregory P. Downey, MD, ATSF. “If you do attend the conference, you can choose not to attend a session live and spend that time networking with colleagues and getting the most of the in-person experience while also still getting access to the scientific content.”

All in-person attendees at ATS 2023 will receive complimentary access to the On-Demand Highlights for a year. Anyone who does not attend the conference can purchase access via the ATS Store.

Sessions viewed on demand are not eligible for Continuing Medical Education credit, although many of the sessions included in the On-Demand Highlights are eligible for CME for in-person attendees.

The on-demand content will be available for one year and cover several areas of interest within pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.

“We want to have a vibrant on-demand offering because we recognize that many in the respiratory community will not be able to attend for one reason or another but still want to learn about the latest developments in respiratory science and patient care,” Dr. Downey said. “Whatever their interest, we want to be sure to have content that meets their needs.”
