Early Registration

Early registration is officially open for the ATS 2026 International Conference, May 15-20, in Orlando, where attendees will “Come for the science. Stay for the magic.” Taking advantage of the early registration period not only ensures a place at the world’s most important respiratory medicine conference but also guarantees registrants the lowest possible rates. The deadline for early registration is Thursday, March 12.

Registering early for ATS 2026 Orlando also allows attendees to book their lodging with an ATS-approved hotel. The Society has coordinated with hotels across Orlando to secure the best rates for conference attendees.

This is also an ideal time to become an ATS member, as members save significantly on their conference registration – not to mention the full range of benefits associated with joining the world’s leading medical society dedicated to improving global respiratory health.

Attendees must register for the conference before booking their hotel room. Registering on the ATS conference website will direct users to book their lodging as soon as their conference registration is confirmed. Registrants will be required to provide credit card information when reservations are made; however, the deposit will not be issued until one week before the conference.

Additional information about the availability and accompanying rates for vendor hotels can be found here. Hotel reservation requests must be received by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 30. After this date, reservations and rates are subject to availability.

Maritz Global Events is the official hotel vendor for the ATS 2026 International Conference. Please be aware that hotel resellers may contact you, offering discounted hotel rates and services for your trip. These offers are not endorsed by or affiliated with the ATS. Engaging with these companies could lead to costly consequences. If you receive unsolicited messages from companies offering hotel services for ATS 2026, please forward them to [email protected], including your name and organizational affiliation.

Planning Your International Travel to Orlando

The ATS International Conference is a truly global event. Over 30 percent of attendees join from patient care centers and laboratories located outside of the United States. For those planning to travel to Orlando from one of these locations, here are some practical tips and information to ensure your journey is as smooth as possible.

International travelers may need a U.S. visa to enter the country, which is issued by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the traveler’s home country and placed in their passport. Those who already have a visa should check its expiration date, along with the expiration date listed on their passport.

To avoid any delays that could impact travel plans, registrants with an expired visa or visiting the U.S. for the first time are highly encouraged to initiate the visa application process quickly. Processing times can vary significantly depending on the attendees’ home country. You can learn more about obtaining a visa by visiting the Visitor Visa page.

To support visa applications, the ATS recommends including the following documents to explain the purpose of your visit to ATS 2026 Orlando:

  • A Letter of Invitation: You can generate a customized letter here: ATS Conference 2026 – Letter of Invitation. Make sure the invitation letter matches the name on your passport.
  • Speaker or Abstract Acceptance Letter (if applicable): Include your letter of acceptance if you are a speaker or have an accepted abstract.
  • A Letter from Your Institution: Ask your employer, training director, or institution to provide a letter confirming you have permission to attend ATS 2026 and will return to work by a specific date. Use your passport name for consistency.
  • Travel Details: Include your ATS 2026 registration confirmation number, hotel booking details, and flight information. Confirm that all reservations are under a name that’s identical to your passport.

Upon arrival in the United States, international travelers will need to clear Customs and Border Protection. Ensure all travel documents are in order for a smooth entry.

Travelers from 41 countries may qualify for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), which permits visits to the U.S. for up to 90 days without a visa. Check if you’re eligible and learn more about the program on the Department of Homeland Security website.

The ATS team is here to help make attendees’ ATS 2026 Orlando experience unforgettable. Registrants (and prospective registrants) with questions about registration, lodging, or travel should email [email protected] for clarification. Safe travels to the Sunshine State!
